Warranty Policy

Last updated: 20/07/2026

We want everything you buy from Zeffa Collective to hold up. This page explains what's covered if something goes wrong, and what isn't.

What's covered

We warrant that our products are free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. This includes things like faulty stitching, broken zips or fastenings, print or embroidery that peels or cracks under normal wear, and fabric faults that weren't visible at the time of sale.

Under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act, you have up to 6 months from delivery to bring back a genuinely defective item for a repair, replacement, or refund, and it's your choice which of the three you'd prefer.

What's not covered

This warranty doesn't cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from incorrect washing or drying (please check the care label before washing)
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or alterations made after purchase
  • Fading or shrinkage from not following the care instructions
  • Items bought on final sale or clearance, unless the item was defective on arrival

How to make a claim

Email zeffacollective@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the fault, and a few photos showing the issue. We'll get back to you within 3 business days to let you know the next step. If we need the item back to assess it, we'll cover the return shipping cost for approved warranty claims.

What happens next

Once we've had a chance to look at the item, we'll either repair it, replace it with the same or a comparable item if it's out of stock, or refund you, depending on the fault and what's available. We'll always talk you through the options before deciding.
